The SIRESP network is going to have more mobile stations and more energy autonomy than 24 hours, announced today the Government, advancing that radios of this network will be distributed across all municipalities and communities.
After the failures at critical times, the SIRESP is preparing for a new phase. The Government is receiving a plan this Tuesday to strengthen the emergency network that foresees an investment of about 36 million euros and visible changes already in the coming months.
The government working group presented 33 recommendations with implementation planned in 18 months, after the failures in the blackout in April. The objective is to consolidate existing capacities and introduce new ones for greater robustness and resilience.
