LG Denies Its Televisions Record Ambient Conversations for Ad Targeting
GamersNexus said a man-in-the-middle attack let researchers capture plain-text voice transcripts and network IP addresses on an LG G5 TV.

- The 2-hour video, compiled with Level1Techs, suggests hackers could access USB or HDMI inputs via the Automatic Content Recognition feature, which transmits viewing habits and voice requests back to the manufacturer.
