- On March 18, 2026, Lexus unveiled the eighth-generation ES with first battery-electric ES 350e and ES 500e models, expected in dealerships in April at $47,500 B.
- The new multi-pathway platform supports both internal-combustion and all-electric powertrains, and the upcoming ES 350h hybrid shares styling with the BEV models.
- A 74.7-kWh lithium-ion battery powers the ES 350e and ES 500e, with fast charging via a NACS J3400-style port, Plug & Charge, and a CCS-to-NACS adapter, in about 30 minutes.
- With the launch, owners receive a three-year Drive Connect trial, and all 2026 ES models include Lexus Safety System+ 4.0 and the new Lexus Interface with a 14.0-inch touchscreen and 12.3-inch Multi-Information Display.
