Leprino Foods plant should be ‘priority’ for new investment – TD

Laois Fine Gael TD Willie Aird has called for urgent government action to secure a new investor or occupier for the Leprino Foods facility in Portlaoise. Leprino Foods is to cease manufacturing at the plant in the second half of this year following an internal review, with production moving to sites in Northern Ireland and Wales.
