Although Christine Fréchette led the best campaign for Quebecers, the caquist leader faced a strong desire for change.
According to the most recent Léger-Le Journal-TVA poll conducted among 1,008 electors from September 4 to 6, the Parti Québécois obtained 29% of the voting intentions, compared to 23% for the CAQ, which seems to be slowing down.
