Legacy Recovery Center Opens Mesa Facility, Expands Access to Residential Mental Health Care in Arizona
The new site expands residential treatment for adults with depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD and other conditions as demand for care outpaces capacity.
Legacy Recovery Center has opened a new residential mental health facility in Mesa, Arizona, located on East Minton Street, expanding the organization's East Valley presence.
Residential treatment programs provide consistent care for those needing more than outpatient services, as many families struggle to find local placement and often search far outside their own communities.
Clinical direction comes from psychiatrists with experience in hospital psychiatry and addiction treatment, while the center treats PTSD, depression, and schizophrenia and accepts Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Cigna.
The new location reduces strain on the organization's Chandler campus, with Chief Executive Officer Richard Miller stating, "Opening in Mesa allows us to reach more people."
Legacy Recovery Center plans to expand further in Arizona to address regions where access remains limited, as regional demand for residential mental health services continues to exceed available capacity.
