“Me and Savannah Trynna Keep It Under Wraps”: LeBron James Hilariously Calls Will Anderson Jr. Bronny’s “Twin” After Courtside Moment
James turned a courtside assist from Will Anderson Jr. into a joke after the Lakers’ 98-78 win clinched the series.
On Friday night, the Los Angeles Lakers eliminated the Houston Rockets with a 98-78 victory in Game Six of the NBA Western Conference Playoffs. During the game, Houston Texans star Will Anderson helped LeBron James up after he fell.
The courtside interaction fueled a long-standing internet joke comparing Will Anderson's appearance to Bronny James. James jokingly referred to the Texans standout as his 'fourth child,' claiming Anderson and Bronny are actually twins.
James led the Lakers with 28 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds in the clinching victory. Pivoting from the joke, he called Anderson an 'unbelievable football player, deserving of everything that he's got.'
Anderson later posted a video on Instagram calling James a 'freaking legend.' While sitting courtside, the All-Pro defensive end also watched Bronny James play three minutes to close out the Lakers' victory.
This victory sends the Lakers to the Western Conference semifinals while eliminating Houston from the first round for the second straight year. The Rockets struggled offensively, shooting 35 percent from the floor.
