The Senate adopted, on Monday, the draft law on the prevention and control of femicide, a normative act which legally defines this crime, introduces aggravating penalties and additional protective measures for victims and remaining orphan children. The initiative, supported by more than 250 parliamentarians, now goes to the House of Representatives, for the decision in this case, writes Agerpres.
The bill will enter into the debate of the House of Representatives, which is for the decision.
