The president-elect, Laura Fernández, called on the 57 deputies who will take office on May 8, to accompany her in a “hard hand” strategy against crime. The call is included in her speech after receiving, on Tuesday, March 17, the credentials that accredit her as president-elect number 50 of the Republic of Costa Rica, for the constitutional period 2026-2030, by the Supreme Electoral Court (TSE).
