The capital continues to dominate with an average of 430 new EVs being registered every day in the city. Electric two-wheelers accounted for 71% of the total electric vehicles registered in Bengaluru in August, while electric cars accounted for 9%.
Bengaluru drives Karnataka electric shift
Bengaluru had 3.8 lakh electric two-wheelers and 46,596 electric cars as of Aug. Its electric commercial fleet included 9,922 motor cabs, 6,855 passenger three-wheelers, and 9,876 goods three-wheelers.
