Time Is Running Out to File a Claim in the Krispy Kreme Data Breach Class Action Settlement
A $1.6 million settlement offers $75 payments, up to $3,500 for losses and one year of credit monitoring to 161,676 affected workers.
Today, Monday, June 22, 2026, is the final deadline to file a claim in the $1.6 million Krispy Kreme settlement stemming from a November 2024 data breach class-action lawsuit.
Krispy Kreme, which denies liability, detected suspicious activity on Nov. 29, 2024, confirming cybercriminals stole personal information from 161,676 former and current employees.
Class members can receive a $75 cash payment according to the settlement website, while those with documented losses for fraud or identity theft can claim up to $3,500 in reimbursement.
Claim forms are available on the settlement website or by mail, requiring Proof such as receipts or emails; those who do not file still receive one year of credit monitoring.
Krispy Kreme recorded $5.0 million in operational inefficiencies related to 'the 2024 Cybersecurity Incident,' with $4.4 million spent on remediation efforts including fees for cybersecurity experts.
