A civil protection exercise began in Kuopio on Wednesday morning, with the participation of a couple of thousand students from educational institutions in the Savilahti area, as well as a few hundred authorities and volunteers.
North Jutland Police, North Jutland Emergency Management, two regions, the Emergency Management Agency, the Home Guard and Falck will conduct a major joint emergency response exercise at Gedsted in Vesthimmerland on September 3, 2026. The exercise is part of the recurring North Jutland exercise format Tordenskjold, where authorities and emergency response organizations train cooperation on major incidents.
