Talks underway to minimize impact of Black-hawk Bridge closure
LANSING – In mid-July, after yet an-other closure to evaluate safety of the Blackhawk Bridge over the Mississippi River, Iowa Department of Transportation (IDOT) announced the bridge would be demolished in the Fall of 2025. The new bridge being built right next to the existing structure is estimated to be complete in 2027.
