WATERTOWN, NY  —  The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists that Interstate 81 in both directions from Perch Lake to Exit 172 (old Exit 49) in the towns of Pamelia and Orleans, Jefferson County, will be reduced to a single lane from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, beginning Monday, August 10, through Friday, August 21, for a paving operation.
