Lägreidi's Excellent Run Continues, Siimer Among the 30

At the biathlon World Championships in Oslo, Norwegian Sturla Holm Lägreid (1; 25.21.4) won first place in the men's 10 km sprint, beating Frenchman Emilien Jacquelin (1) by 3.9 seconds and Frenchman Eric Perrot (1) by 4.6 seconds.
