SULPHUR — Live Oak waited 18 years to make it back to a state title game. The Eagles trailed by two runs in the sixth to West Monroe, but Live Oak wasn't ready to wait another year.

Lady Tigers advance to state championship game

Hahnville will play for a state championship Sunday.   The Lady Tigers earned a 6-4 win over St. Amant in the Division I non-select semifinals in Sulphur Saturday to advance to the championship game, which will be played at 3 p.m. Sunday at Frasch Park.  Hahnville (23-12), the 8th seed in the bracket, will face No. 10 seed Live Oak (23-14) which defeated No. 3 West Monroe 4-2 in the other semifinal game.  It will be Hahnville’s first state title…
