Kraft Dinner Smoothie and Pickle-Flavoured Coffee? What's on Tap at the CNE in Toronto This Year
The fair’s lineup includes a KD smoothie, pickle-flavoured coffee and other novelty foods as organizers aim to showcase Toronto’s food scene.
On Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2026, the Canadian National Exhibition held its media preview in Toronto, showcasing unusual culinary offerings including a Kraft Dinner smoothie from Booster Juice.
Running through Labour Day, the CNE officially opens Friday, Aug. 21, 2026, providing visitors with gastronomic experiences and entertainment attractions throughout the annual end-of-summer fair.
Organizers unveiled unusual menu items including Pickle-flavoured coffee and mango habanero or nacho donuts from Mochi, while the CNE signature cotton candy hot sauce appears in various food items.
Beyond food, the CNE features high-diving performances towering over the Princes Gates into a 40,000-gallon pool, alongside an Ontario Science Centre pop-up and carnival rides.
Opening ceremonies on Friday, Aug. 21, 2026, will feature Astronaut Jeremy Hansen, who travelled around the moon on the Artemis mission, supporting a new space exhibition with the Canadian Space Agency.
