The Korea Customs Service operates a 24-hour special customs clearance team to ensure a smooth supply of Chuseok holiday goods and discloses import prices for 89 agricultural, livestock, and fishery products every week. To support export companies, it provides same-day customs refunds and conducts simultaneous crackdowns on origin violations, focusing on stabilizing holiday prices and creating a fair distribution environment.
The Gwangju Regional Customs Office will provide 24-hour customs clearance support for three weeks to ensure that import and export logistics continue without disruption ahead of Chuseok.
Customs authorities will operate "24-Hour Special Customs Clearance Support Teams" at 34 customs offices nationwide, including Daegu Customs, for three weeks until the 27th to support the rapid customs clearance of seasonal goods and raw materials for the Chuseok holiday.
