Professor Antoni Dudek has been scathing in his criticism of Donald Tusk over Maciej Berek's appointment as a Constitutional Tribunal judge. "A horrendous move," the political scientist said.
"I believe Donald Tusk has made one of the biggest mistakes of his current term," Professor Antoni Dudek commented in Szubartowicz's Point of View, referring to Maciej Berek's candidacy for the Constitutional Tribunal. The expert believes that with this outrageous move, the Prime Minister has crossed the line of the party on overhauling the constitutional judiciary.
Bronisław Komorowski doubts whether Karol Nawrocki will accept Maciej Berek's oath. "I'm afraid that if he becomes a judge of the Constitutional Tribunal, he will probably join the group of judges Święczkowski keeps in the shadows, preventing them from fulfilling their duties," the former president said.
