RUTLAND — Fire Chief Seth Knipe was given a new hat to wear, at least temporarily, by the Select Board. With Interim Town Administrator David DeManche suddenly resigning recently, the board, already nearing the final stages of a search for new administrator, opted to have Knipe fill the role.
