Kingston Council’s support for refugees and people fleeing conflict has been praised by London’s Deputy Mayor.
Dr Debbie Weekes-Bernard met residents, volunteers and staff to see how people settling in the area are being supported. She also visited Save the World Club, which provides food and other help to people in need. Kingston was officially recognised for its support for refugees and asylum seekers in November last year.
