Parents or guardians in Vienna who are entitled to a full-day place for their children in a municipal kindergarten will no longer lose this entitlement if they take parental leave or lose their job. Previously, in such cases, the children usually had to be picked up earlier. This is now set to change, as the responsible city councilor, Bettina Emmerling (NEOS), told the APA.
