Mexico City.- Actor Kevin Spacey will return to the big screen as the protagonist of Melodies in the Forest, a drama set in World War II that will start shooting in October in Italy and the Czech Republic, Deadline reported. In the film, Spacey will play Petr Novotni, a renowned 85-year-old conductor whose past during the war, hidden for decades, emerges violently, detonating a story marked by secrets, memory and guilt.
The filming is scheduled to begin in October. "Melodies in the Forest", a drama about the Second World War, is a smaller production by director Roberto Lippolis.
Hollywood hadn't hired him for big productions for years, now Kevin Spacey obviously stands for a war drama in front of the camera. The project is to be presented at the film market in Cannes.
