Kentucky added the 20-year-old guard after she skipped the Sky and preserved NCAA eligibility, giving coach Kenny Brooks a shooter and playmaker.
On Wednesday, the University of Kentucky announced the signing of Ajsa Sivka, a 20-year-old Slovenian guard drafted 10th overall by the Chicago Sky in the 2025 WNBA Draft.
Sivka opted to forgo joining The Sky last season to remain in Europe, finishing high school while playing for the Slovenian national team in the 2025 FIBA Women's European Basketball Championship.
Chicago Sky coach Tyler Marsh said the organization supported her decision, noting she wanted to "experience college, have the college experience from a basketball standpoint, and a lifestyle standpoint."
The Sky retain exclusive rights to Sivka through her college eligibility, though the league has not issued a definitive statement on this unprecedented situation.
Under head coach Kenny Brooks, Sivka joins a loaded Kentucky roster featuring transfers Diana Collins and Me'Arah O'Neal, strengthening the Wildcats' bid to repeat postseason success.
