Gang Attack in Haiti: Anger Mounts over Police Failures

At least 47 refugees in the campaign to escape the violence were killed on the night of Sunday 23 to Monday 24 August by gangs, near Port-au-Prince. Due to this climate of insecurity, the hope of organizing in December the first election of the head of state since 2016 fades.
