Keith Tkachuk is elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in the Class of 2026 with Patrice Bergeron, Carey Price and others
On Monday, the Hockey Hall unveiled its 2026 class, featuring goaltender Carey Price and center Patrice Bergeron alongside Pekka Rinne, Keith Tkachuk, Cindy Curley, and executive Brian Burke.
Though Price and Bergeron competed as rivals for Original Six franchises Montreal and Boston, the duo won gold for Canada at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
Price, a 2015 Hart Trophy winner, was elected in his second year of eligibility, while Bergeron, a six-time Selke Trophy winner, joined in his first year.
Tkachuk, a premier power forward of the 1990s and 2000s, enters after waiting over 15 years since his playing career ended, while Burke will be inducted as a builder.
The class will be formally honored at the upcoming induction ceremony in November, celebrating NHL careers spanning from Tkachuk's era to the recent retirements of Price and Bergeron.
