'Breaks My Heart': Grammy-Nominated R&B Singer Cancels Shows After Hospitalization
Kehlani said she was hospitalized for an undisclosed illness and will return to the stage in Richmond after rescheduling the canceled shows for early September.
On Wednesday, Aug. 26, Grammy-nominated singer Kehlani announced her hospitalization, forcing the cancellation of two upcoming concerts in Camden, New Jersey, and Columbia, Maryland.
Kehlani, 31, wrote on Instagram she had been 'up all night unable to swallow and in so much pain' and was 'not cleared to sing for the next two shows.'
The 'Folded' singer recently underwent sinus surgery because she 'haven't been able to breathe for seven years,' and maintains a wellness routine after being 'clinically diagnosed as bipolar.'
Rescheduled dates for the cancelled shows are set for Sept. 5 and 6, with Kehlani captioning her announcement, 'see you then.'
Kehlani confirmed she will return to the stage on Saturday, Aug. 29, for a North American tour stop in Richmond, Virginia, as planned.
