Kedarnath Yatra: Police seize liquor worth Rs 12 lakh, drugs worth Rs 6.3 lakh
Rudraprayag Police are intensifying their crackdown on illegal liquor and narcotics trade. Approximately fifty-three cases under the Excise Act have been registered so far. Police have seized nearly two thousand liters of illicit liquor and vehicles. Five cases under the NDPS Act have also been registered with significant contraband seized. Heavy rainfall in Rudraprayag district has increased the risk of landslides along key routes.
