CM D.K. Shivakumar conducted an aerial survey of the drought-hit areas in Bagalkot, Vijayanagar and Bellary districts. Assembly Deputy Speaker Mankalu Vaidya and Rajya Sabha member Dr. G.C. Chandrashekhar were also present on the occasion. They observed how much crop damage has occurred due to lack of rain, the condition of the lands and the condition of the farmers.
