"KAGURABACHI" Set for TV Anime Adaptation by Cypic in April 2027!
The series will stream globally in April 2027 after a world tour that previews Episode 1 and ends with its first full screening in Japan.
- On Monday, April 27, 2026, CyberAgent, Inc. and Shochiku Co., Ltd. announced that an anime adaptation of Takeru Hokazono's Kagurabachi will begin broadcasting and streaming in April 2027.
- Serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump, the original manga will surpass 4 million copies in cumulative circulation with the release of Volume 11 on Friday, May 1.
- Production studio Cypic will produce the series with Director Tetsuya Takeuchi and Character Designer Keigo Sasaki leading staff; voice actor Taihi Kimura, winner of the 2025 Seiyu Awards for Best New Actor, will voice protagonist Chihiro Rokuhira.
- The Kagurabachi World Tour begins this summer, featuring 20-minute preview screenings of Episode 1 globally before culminating in Japan in spring 2027 with a full-length screening ahead of the official broadcast.
- Digital platform MANGA Plus by SHUEISHA is offering free access to chapters 1-17 until May 25, while creators released special illustrations and comments to mark the project's launch.
