Judit Lannert reacted on her social media page to the recent resurgence of a statement she made last year about the Hungarian national team. Lannert, who now works as the Minister of Education and Children's Affairs, said her earlier statement was taken out of context, but she acknowledged that the football analogy she used was unfortunate, and apologized to those she offended.
The Minister of Education and Children's Affairs, however, apologized for the football player analogy, saying, "It was really unfortunate, because the desire to win in football and in school is not the same."
