Former state Sen. Siah Correa Hemphill, two state legislators and the state auditor have been dismissed as defendants in a whistleblower lawsuit that accused them of conspiring in a vendetta against the former president of Western New Mexico University.
Remaining as defendants in the lawsuit are the university and John Wertheim, vice chair of the WNMU Board of Regents.
