Journalist, debater and author Ditte Giese has died after a long battle with cancer. She was 48 years old. This was announced by the family to Ritzau. Ditte Giese was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019. It was only three days ago that she wrote in a debate piece in Politiken that she had been declared terminally ill. The piece was headlined "Farewell, dear readers".
