He played for the first time since injuring his ACL, medial collateral ligament and meniscus in his right knee in training in early February of that year. The 27-year-old played the last seven minutes of stoppage time, where he received huge applause and cheer for a routine tackle. Manager Keith Andrews said he was very moved by the reception for his number ten.
