Jordan Pickford 'Almost Caused Crash' with Careless Driving in Lamborghini
Pickford pleaded guilty after police said he ignored a give-way sign and forced two cars to brake, leading to a charge of driving without due care or attention.
England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford pleaded guilty to careless driving charges on Monday following an April 14 incident in Knutsford, Cheshire, using the Single Justice Procedure.
According to court documents, Pickford ignored a give way sign in his £200,000 Lamborghini Urus, forcing two vehicles to brake suddenly before he sped away.
Cheshire Police officer PC Cecil Ricardo pursued the vehicle at 50mph in a 30mph zone, noting the Lamborghini "was still pulling away" before Pickford stopped.
Pickford requested a court hearing to present his mitigation, with the case adjourned until December 7 at Chester Magistrates' Court.
With 336 appearances for Everton and 92 England caps, the 32-year-old has represented his country at multiple World Cups since 2018.
