Jon Lovitz Confronts Adam Sandler Over Always Being Cast as a 'Pervert' in His Movies
On Tuesday, actress Dakota Fanning appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to discuss acting opposite her sister, Elle Fanning, in the upcoming film adaptation of The Nightingale.
Both sisters were initially nervous about the project, with Dakota admitting they were "silently panicked" because, as she said, "It's the person that knows you best in the world that you're acting with, and we're super close."
Dakota recounted a specific on-set disagreement, explaining that the sisters had a minor "fight" in a "really hot room" over sharing a couch, with Elle replying, "My leg has been here all day."
Also appearing on Tuesday, comedian Jon Lovitz addressed his history of being cast as a "pervert" in Adam Sandler's films, though he clarified that Sandler is producing his upcoming movie.
The 69-year-old comedian's new film, Don't Say Good Luck, is scheduled for release this coming Friday, August 14, 2026, marking another collaboration between Lovitz and Sandler.
