Jio Platforms is on the verge of launching what is projected to be the largest public offering in India, targeting USD 3.8 billion. International roadshows spearheaded by Akash Ambani and Isha Ambani have garnered interest. Following approval from Sebi, Jio Platforms plans to release new equity shares, constituting about 2.9 percent of its base.
The company may also hold roadshows in India. The bidding process for anchor investors is expected to begin before Dussehra, and the IPO will open after Dussehra, but before October 23rd.
Based on the positive support from foreign investors, the initial valuation of Jio Platforms is likely to be $143-146 billion or at least Rs 12 lakh crore.
