Jerry Kaminski’s 4 TDs Help North Dakota Pummel Murray State 55-28

On Saturday at the Alerus Center, North Dakota overcame a 21-point deficit to defeat Murray State 55-28, scoring 55 unanswered points in the second and third quarters for a homecoming victory.
Murray State initially dominated, leading 21-0 before quarterback Jerry Kaminski sparked the North Dakota offense with his arm and legs to shift momentum completely.
North Dakota's offense totaled 303 rushing yards behind Charles Langama, who rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns; Jerry Kaminski added 186 passing yards and three touchdowns.
Cameron Weir returned a punt 57 yards for a touchdown to tie the game at 21, and Kenten Laughman kicked a 23-yard field goal to give North Dakota a 24-21 halftime lead.
Now 5-1 overall, the Fighting Hawks travel to Northern Iowa next Saturday, while Murray State enters a bye week before hosting South Dakota on October 17.
