Jenni ‘Jwoww’ Farley Reveals She Was Hospitalized for Kidney Infection, Appendicitis: ‘Hardest’ Week
Farley said she spent a week fighting appendicitis and a kidney infection while her husband helped her children visit before school.
- On Thursday, Jersey Shore star Jenni "JWoww" Farley announced she was hospitalized, forcing her to miss the traditional first day of school for her children, Meilani and Greyson.
- Farley explained that a severe kidney infection and appendicitis caused the sudden hospitalization after months of feeling unwell. "Weight loss, exhaustion, constantly feeling off," she admitted, before her body finally forced her to seek care last Friday.
- Husband Zack Clayton brought Meilani and Greyson to the hospital room early so the family could prepare together. Farley wrote, "We got hospital bracelets, a hospital room, backpacks, hair supplies and a memory I don't think any of us will ever forget."
- Reflecting on her experience, Farley urged parents to show compassion, noting that families face unseen struggles during back-to-school season. She emphasized, "As our kids go back to school, please remind them to be kind. Don't judge someone by what they're wearing, what they have, or what they didn't post."
- Despite the nontraditional circumstances, Farley expressed gratitude for being able to style her daughter's hair on her first day. "Our first-day picture looks a little different this year, but we have one," she concluded. "And right now, I'm incredibly grateful for that.
