Prague health officials have recorded 28 new cases of hepatitis A last week. This is the third week in a row that they have seen a decrease. A total of 1,303 people have been infected in Prague since the beginning of the year, including 218 children. Health officials say it is a local epidemic, and they launched a campaign to promote vaccination in the fall. Last year, 37 cases were recorded.
