By SARA VANDEN BERGE Stephenville voters elected to keep a longtime city councilman in his place despite a challenge from newcomer Jorge Moreno. In Saturday’s city election, Gerald Cook won his race to retain place 2 on the Stephenville City Council with 76% (478 votes) to Moreno’s 24% (147 votes).
