According to the Shizuoka Prefectural Police, a 7-year-old boy, an elementary school student, was found alone at the 6th station of the Fujinomiya trail on Mount Fuji on the morning of the 20th. He had become tired and fussy, and his father had told him to "wait for about 8 hours" and left him there. He was unharmed.
