The Minister of Construction and Transport suggested in the latest Lázárinfo that since the reinstatement of the death penalty is not possible due to EU membership, either actual life imprisonment or chemical castration should be introduced in Hungary for pedophile offenders. János Lázár said that they could submit a bill on this issue in consultation with Máté Kocsis.
