JACKSON, Tenn.—A Jackson academy is giving back by providing food to local families. Journey Academy of Cosmetology hosted a turkey giveaway Saturday. The event took place from noon until 2 p.m. at the school located at 1186 U.S. 45 Bypass in Jackson. Claude Thomas teamed up with other members of the organization and volunteers for the free event.
