Vice-President of the Lisbon Chamber ensures that the authorities and Carris are doing as much as possible to meet the relatives and victims of the accident with the Glória Elevator
Almost a year after the accident that killed 16 people and injured 24, the Lisbon Chamber and Carris defend the support given to victims and families. At the same time, the final report on the causes of derailment should only be known in 2027.
Derailment of the Gloria elevator occurred on September 3, 2025, causing 16 fatal victims and 24 injured from 15 different nationalities.
The vice-president of the Lisbon Chamber said today that the autorquia and the municipal company Carris "have done everything, everything, everything" in support of the victims and their families following the accident with the elevator of Gloria.
