It took App State 11 years to act on professor’s sexual misconduct allegations. Here's why

The university said the probe began after an allegation earlier this year and could have ended in firing if the professor had not resigned.

Appalachian State acknowledged it received previous reports of sexual misconduct by Ross in 2015 and again in 2018, but neither resulted in any action against him by the school.
