- Last month, Jelly Roll learned he was nominated for three Grammys in 2026 and was told this week on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast he was invited to join the Grand Ole Opry; the 68th Grammy Awards will be held Feb. 1, 2026.
- Drawing from recovery work, Jelly Roll centers his outreach on recovery and mental-health efforts, including prison performances, hoping his music helps others overcome adversity.
- In addition, he was nominated for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for Hard Fought Hallelujah with Brandon Lake and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for Amen with Shaboozey, plus Best Contemporary Country Album for Beautifully Broken; two of the three nominations represent new territory.
- Craig Morgan, country singer, delivered the Grand Ole Opry invitation in a pre-taped message, prompting Jelly Roll to remove his headphones and cry on The Joe Rogan Experience, recalling Morgan's impact.
- Speaking about faith, Jelly Roll said, `I really don’t care when the organized religions wave their finger at me` and noted he lives too secular to fully cross into the CCM category.
