- Weighing 2367 kg, EOS-05 represents the heaviest payload lifted by GSLV; the 51.7-meter-tall rocket placed the satellite into a 36,000 km orbit, providing India with a new "eye in the sky."
- ISRO Chief V Narayanan called the achievement "incredible," confirming the satellite's health remains in perfect condition, while Science and Technology Minister Jitendra Singh noted the mission strengthens India's position as a global space power.
- With this successful launch, ISRO continues preparations for the Gaganyaan mission; Narayanan reported that around 8000 tests are complete, with the agency targeting six additional launches this financial year.
