Two Vancouver Island distilleries have earned top honours at the 2026 World Whiskies Awards, putting the region’s craft whisky scene firmly on the global map. Shelter Point Distillery took home gold in the 12 Years & Under Pot Still division for its 10 Years Old Estate Whisky.
