- Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said the alliance should not become an "exclusive club," while Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar called it "purely defensive in nature."
- Turkey has indicated the alliance could expand further, with reports suggesting Bangladesh, Egypt, and Syria are also examining the pact as regional powers seek security mechanisms.
